Boat Permit Information
- Applications Available: February 1
- Renewal Processing: Begins third week of February
- New Processing: Begins fourth week of February
- 1800 permits are available
- There will be no walk-in sales.
To obtain an application, send a self-addressed, stamped, business-sized envelope requesting a Boat Permit Application to:

The boating season extends from March 1 through December 31 (Weather Permitting) between sunrise and sunset.
Loch Raven Reservoir
Boat launching and boat docking permits are offered prior to the season. These registrations and renewals will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on February 21, 22, 28 and March 1st in the Fishing Center Office at Loch Raven. If you have any questions please call the center, Friday through Monday at 410-887-7692.
Opening Day this year will be Friday, April 3, 2009.
