Boat Launching Permits in Hand... Not only did i pickup the Loch Raven Reservoir launching permit yesterday but when the mail came my Liberty Reservoir / Prettyboy Reservoir permit was in the mail. Props to the city for processing these in a timely fashion. This is certainly the earliest I've ever received mine. Always nice to have all of these in hand.
However, these are permits to launch a boat. They do not guarantee fish and the boat doesnt fish for you.

It was really enjoyable to see so many MRA members (past, present and future) at Loch Raven today. In case you forot, permit renewals began at the Loch today and happen again tomorrow (2/10) and next Saturday (2/16) And don't forget to mail in your Liberty and Prettyboy permit renewals as well.

With about 3 weeks to the start of the season, now is the time to install any updates that may be available to your electronics. I just got the notification about the 6.600 software release for my Humminbird unit. This hopefully will give myself the time to restore all of my settings after a few trips as well as get acquainted with the new features. Check with the manufacturer of your unit(s) to see if there are any. Good Luck.

About an hour ago, I got a text from one of our members who is an Baltimore County employee. He said they have pulled a body from Prettyboy today. Apparently, the guy was threatening suicide last nite and the body was found this morning. Authorities brought the body to the ramp and were completing their investigation. Sad.

Well hunting season is over what to do in Feb.?. 9th get loch permit Feb 21st-24th bassmasters 24th daytona 500 and metro meeting.Come on spring time.

This is what you catch when you're a "rider" on the Potomac ABA series and the "PRO" up front hand cuffs you in the grass....hehe..........Potomac froggin' is a blast!!
