Returning from California I got into BWI at 9pm last night. Was in bed at mid-night and up at 5am for some December Bassin'. Bob and I made another trip to Prettyboy. We launched at 630am and the water temp was 42-43 today. Words cant describe the beauty of this day with temps in the 60s and virtually no wind.
We elected to fish mid-lake today and headed into Georges Run. We didn't have to run very far into Georges when the fishfinder became cluttered with baitballs, arches and active feeding fish. We dropped the trolling motor in about 40' of water and boated 6 white perch in the matter of minutes. However, couldn't come up with a bass.
We fished til 1pm and boated 5 bass. 4 smallies and 1 largemouth. Bob was on the more quality fish along with the most for the day of 3 bass. His biggest was a 3lb smallie. Good job, Bob!
