2013 Weigh-In Volunteers Needed
Hello Friends of the Metro Reservoir Anglers.
As we work to get things ready for an exciting new year of fishing, I have been working on ways to make our weigh-ins more functional for the fishermen and interesting for our spectators. I know that there are many people that follow our website to keep up on what is happening at the resevoirs, and some have even mentioned that they might be interested in helping us out in some way.
I am trying to identify at least three or four individuals that would be interested in helping our club by volunteering to set up the weigh-in equipment in advance of the anglers reaching the shore at the end of each tournament. I hope that we could get a nice group of people so the volunteers could take turns and help when you are available and it is convenient for you. At this time, I am formulating the proceedure and working through the logistics. If you are interested in possibly helping, please leave a reply to this post and I will be in contact.
Perhaps we can find some MRA members that could return the kindness of these volunteers by offering to treat them to a day (or two or three) of fishing???
I would really appreciate the help. Let me know.

I fish the Bay Bridge pilings
I fish the Bay Bridge pilings quite a bit in the summer live lining spot for stripers. I always have room for a volunteer or two. Bonus, I always get the annual permit which allows anyone to fish on my boat without tidal license. Or I would be happy to take someone out on the reservoirs in my rig.
