I am not talking about the PGA, I am talking about the Metro Tournament of Champions. On the two toughest days of the month according to the lunar tables, bluebird skies and morning temps below freezing, the top four finishers did not miss a beat. Congratulations to Butch and Larry on the Win!! Also Craig and Nik for continuing a great season . How about that impressive bag of Smallmouth from Jason and Steve. Must have been exciting catching and netting those fish!! Also Gary and Don for just doing what they do best -Catching Fish , including a 6+ Largemouth. Congratulations All. I can't wait till next year.

I couldn't agree more. Congratulations to all of those teams for a superior tournament. With only three limits caught between the two days, Barger and Wilson caught one of those limits and was just one shy the first day. Now they can finally add the TOC to their long list of tournament victories.
And how close was it to a dream year for the team of Gordon and Wolfe? With Craig's son Nik filling is for Holden at this event, Craig nearly won the big one, probably ending just one more fish short of the title. All I can say to Craig, Holden and Nik is that its' just a matter of time.
And when Don and Gary brought that 6.24 pounder to the scales I thought it might have been their day too! What a fish and what a day to catch her!
Now it's just seven months until the next tournament. Like Bobby, I sure hope those seven months go quickly. I think I'll go sharpen a few hooks and start getting ready.
