OK, This is really getting out of control. ReGen Nautic has manufactured a 180 HP Electric outboard. Take a look at their web page. It's pretty incredible. The imbedded video on the page is not bad. However, you'll need to select to view it at full-screen.

These high-tech batteries are improving. I drove a Tesla 4-door electric sedan last week. It is owned by a customer of mine. He has a battery upgrade that provides a 300 mile range. Not bad for plug-in electric car. He told me he can recharge in 4 hours with a 220V 100 Amp charger he had installed in his garage.
