I was checking out all of
I was checking out all of their websites and noticed most of the clubs start tournament fishing in Feb. For the most part they are all roughly around the same size clubs. Also all these clubs are fishing a limit of 5 per team.

It's really interesting when you look at the clubs & their regional philosophies. The majority of the clubs have a 5 fish limit. It is also interesting that those clubs with 5 fish limits, have tournaments throughout the bass spawn. Personally, I am pleased that the State of MD protects spawning bass and doesn't allow tournament fishing during the spawn. I know that all of our competing clubs place strict penalties for poor fish care.
The National Championship is interesting, in that the scoring system allows for all participating clubs to be unrestricted in their event scheduling. Several of the clubs will have completed their 5 Championship events long before our club has finished our season.
See you on the water Mel.
