Wow! Things are really moving fast. I have received approval from both the City of Baltimore as well as Loch Raven Fishing Center for our 2013 schedule so there is no reason to keep that under wraps any longer.

And last but not least, our season ending "Icebreaker" - Big Fish Tournament is scheduled for Sunday December 1st at Liberty Reservoir.
Plus, we have confirmation on the location of our annual meeting. Past, present and future MRA members are invited to join us on Sunday, February 24th at the Ashland Cafe (10810 York Road Cockeysville, MD 21030 - http://www.theashlandcafe.net/) at 1:00 pm. The annual meeting allows us to gather to discuss the upcoming season, review the rules and regulations and begin to process memberships and entries for the season. Oh, and have some fun telling fish stories too!
There will be plenty more updates to follow in the weeks to come, so keep coming back to the website. And please keep all of your good ideas and comments coming. It means a lot to have your suggestions to help guide the Board members in their planning!

Glad you like the schedule!
Glad you like the schedule! Hunting is just like fishing, all that pent up energy gets you going at the beginning of the season.
I had always tried to schedule tournaments every 3rd week. Sometimes it doesn't always work because of the way the holidays fall. Other times it is because of a conflict with the other group's schedule. But I always thought every third week was nice in that it was regular and the season was complete before hunting season started. Plus, after five months of always fishing in preparation for the next tournament, I always thought it nice to have a couple of months to simply fish where and when I wanted instead of being tied to a tournament schedule.
